India: Amravati Chemist Murder: Probe Agency NIA Takes Custody Of All Accused

All the seven blamed in the homicide for a scientist in Maharashtra's Amravati have been arrested by the National Investigative Agency (NIA), the authorities said today.

The scientist, Umesh Kolhe, was wounded to death on June 21 in Amravati when he was returning home over a virtual entertainment post on the side of suspended BJP representative Nupur Sharma, whose comments on Prophet Mohammed have set off a gigantic debate at home and abroad.
