Health Mumbai Reports 871 New Covid Cases In 24 Hours, Highest Since July 1

Mumbai on Friday recorded 871 new Covid cases, crossing the 800-mark twice this week and enlisting the most noteworthy day to day count since July 1, while another patient surrendered to the contamination here, the city body said.
With these increments, the General count of COVID-19 flooded to 11,30,839, while the demise count expanded to 19,663, said the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in a notice.
On August 10, Mumbai had seen 852 Covid cases other than one casualty before the contamination count plunged to 683 on August 11.
The include of 871 as of now was the most elevated since July 1, when the city had logged 978 COVID-19 cases and two fatalities, before the everyday numbers began dropping consistently.

Mumbai's count of recovered cases rose to 11,06,933 after 445 patients recuperated from the contamination as of now, leaving the city with 4,243 dynamic cases, said the release.
The city has a Covid recuperation pace of 97.9 percent.
Of the 871 new COVID-19 cases, just 40 patients were indicative, as per the notice.
The development pace of Covid remained at 0.037 percent between August 4 and August 11, while the case multiplying rate was 1,898 days, it added.
